MANUFACTURING

How are Ivarene parts made?

Each piece is handmade in our Parisian workshop, with the greatest respect for jewelry tradition.

We have selected precious and semi-precious stones and delicately attached them to a silky nylon cord with three knots between each which guarantee great resistance.

Three clasps exist: 14K Gold-filled 'Infinity' Clasp, the 14K Gold-filled magnetic clasp and the 'Snake' bronze clasp.

What is the secret of Ivarene stones?

Our precious and semi-precious stones are sourced mainly in India.

Variations in color, size, transparency, inclusions and stains are all small imperfections that make our necklaces authentic and naturally beautiful.

How to recognize the authenticity of an Ivarene jewel?

A small piece engraved with an Ivarene hallmark is added to the clasp. In addition, a certificate of authenticity is given with each piece.

Are there several sizes?

For bracelets: there are 4 sizes of bracelets in 15, 16, 17 and 18 centimeters. When ordering your bracelet you are invited to choose from the sizes available depending on the model.

For necklaces: our standard size is 44 cm, there are sometimes necklaces in shorter or longer sizes. The size is specified in the description of each necklace. And you can refer to this illustration to view the sizes: SIZES . However, we are all different, we recommend that you have a tape measure to get a reliable estimate of the length of a necklace or bracelet.

For rings: there are 2 ring sizes: Small 51 cm and Medium 53 cm. The Small version includes sizes 48 to 52 and the Medium version includes sizes 53 to 55.

Where to buy IVARENE parts online?

All Ivarene parts are sold online exclusively on our website.

How to buy on the Ivarene website?

On the Ivarenegems.com site you will find the 'Jewelry' section with all the jewelry by category necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, etc. click on the jewelry you wish to buy, for some you will have to choose from options such as shape of the stone, or size of the necklace for example. Then click “Add to Cart”. Once your basket is filled, follow the steps: enter your account, choose your delivery method (Colissimo, Courier or Express D+1) and fill in your bank details. Once payment has been validated, an email confirmation will be sent to you.

What should I do if a part is no longer available?

If you wish to purchase a piece of jewelry marked “Back soon” you can enter your email address and receive an email notification when this product is back in stock. If the piece you want does not appear on our e-shop, do not hesitate to write to us at: hello@ivarenegems.com

GIFT ORDER

Is it possible to include a personalized message for the recipient?

Please specify when ordering in the “Additional information” section, we will add your message on a card, also tell us if you would like the invoice not to be included in the package.

Can I request gift wrapping?

All IVARENE creations are carefully packaged in a suede pouch in the house's colors.

At the time of payment you will have additional options:

DELIVERY

What are the shipping costs?

Delivery costs are the responsibility of the user and will be specified when confirming the order.

Shipping costs are free for any order equal to or greater than 230 euros for delivery in Metropolitan France and Monaco.

Your part is insured during transport.

The ordered products will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer, anywhere in the world.

Delivery is provided by Colissimo Standard in France and by UPS or DHL for the rest of the countries.

Do we have to pay taxes and customs?

For all deliveries outside the European Union, additional customs fees and taxes may be applied and are the responsibility of the customer.

For our customers in the United Kingdom, please note that since January 1, 2021, customs charges apply to all orders over £135 (approximately €155).

Customs taxes are the responsibility of the customer. It is therefore the customer's responsibility to find out their amount from their local customs office. Due to customs clearance, delivery times may be extended.

What are the shipping times?

Delivery times vary depending on the delivery address.

If your order is placed Monday to Friday before 12 p.m., it will generally be shipped within 24 to 48 hours after payment is validated.

Three delivery options are offered:

  • Colissimo France and Monaco
  • Courier Paris intramuros
  • Express shipping France D+1 for orders placed before 11 a.m.

When your order is placed in “processed” status, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number of your package, which will then allow you to follow the delivery of your package on the La Poste website.

What should I do if my delivery is urgent?

Ivarene invites you to choose an Express delivery method:

  • Paris intramuros: a courier for same-day delivery from Monday to Friday provided that the order is placed before 1 p.m.
  • For all of France: D+1 delivery for all orders placed before 11 a.m.
  • all orders outside France are sent via DHL or UPS

How can I monitor the progress of my delivery?

When your order is placed in “processed” status, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number of your package, which will then allow you to follow the delivery of your package on the La Poste website.

If you wish to follow the progress of your order, log in to your account on the website and click on “orders”. In this section you can consult the progress of your order:

  • In preparation (your order has been validated and is currently being processed)
  • Being delivered (your order has been shipped and you can now follow its progress on the carrier's website using the package number)

For deliveries by Colissimo, an e-mail or SMS will be sent to you as soon as your package is shipped, indicating a delivery tracking number.

For any further information, you can contact our customer service by email hello@ivarenegems.com, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays in France), from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (metropolitan France time).

What if I change my mind? Consult the Return & Exchange section

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

What are the return or exchange conditions?

Upon receipt of your package, you have 14 days to send us your return or exchange request by completing our after-sales service form.

Please note that if the returned parts are damaged or if the reason for your return is not justified, IVARENE reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions. Returns are the responsibility of the customer and must be made within 15 days following communication of their decision to withdraw, in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions). Only returns insured to the value of the jewelry will be accepted.

Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

*Only European countries are authorized to return or exchange their orders.

Return costs are your responsibility.

Please note that return packages are your responsibility until arrival at IVARENE. We advise you to make your return with a tracking number in order to avoid any problems with delivery and to insure your package.

How to return my jewelry ?

To return your purchase, follow the steps below:

1- Send your return or exchange request by completing the after-sales service form.

2- Confirmation of your return request will be sent to you within 72 hours.

4- Return items that do not suit you in their original packaging, attaching your invoice: IVARENE 68 rue Singer 75016 Paris - France. An email will be sent to you to confirm receipt of the return.

Please note that return packages are your responsibility until arrival at IVARENE. We advise you to make your return with a tracking number in order to avoid any problems with delivery and to insure your package.

What is the deadline for a refund?

You will receive an email to notify you when the refund has been made. Allow approximately 10 working days upon receipt of your return for our service to process your request.

Customer Care & Repairs

Is my jewelry guaranteed?

Our 6 month warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the jewelry as well as loss, theft, defects, damage or breakage resulting from misuse, negligence or accident.

Your item will be examined, if a manufacturing defect is detected, we will completely reassemble your necklace / bracelet. Repair times can take 3 to 4 weeks. For earrings and rings, delivery times may be longer.

In all other cases, our workshop offers an after-sales service for reassembly of broken or worn necklaces and bracelets. We cut the cord between each stone, we replace the cord, we clean the stones and we reassemble the piece completely, which represents more or less 2 hours of labor.

  • Fitting a collar 50 euros.
  • Fitting a bracelet 25 euros.

Any stone replacement will be subject to an estimate, which will be submitted to you for acceptance before any repair.

My necklace/bracelet is broken, how do I repair it?

Our workshop offers an after-sales service for reassembly of broken or worn necklaces and bracelets. We cut the cord between each stone, we replace the cord, we clean the stones and we reassemble the piece completely, which represents more or less 2 hours of labor.

  • Fitting a collar 50 euros.
  • Fitting a bracelet 25 euros.

Any stone replacement will be subject to an estimate, which will be submitted to you for acceptance before any repair.

What is the repair time?

The repair of your jewelry can take between 3-4 weeks from the date of receipt of it.

What is the repair cost?

The reassembly of a necklace is charged 50 euros and the reassembly of a bracelet 25 euros. For earrings and rings a quote will be sent to you.

MAINTENANCE TIPS

How do I take care of my jewelry?

We hope you enjoy the delicacy of your necklace and/or bracelet.

We would like to draw your attention to the fragility of this item and recommend that you carry it with care.

We have carefully selected the precious and semi-precious stones that make up your jewelry and have carefully attached them to a silky nylon cord which guarantees a certain resistance. Each piece is handmade in Paris.

Variations in color, transparency, inclusions and stains are all small imperfections that make our necklaces and/or bracelets authentic and naturally beautiful.

Gemstones are delicate and can break, treat your necklace and/or bracelet gently and it will accompany you throughout your life.

Avoid exposing them to chemicals (perfumes, creams, chlorine, etc.), we recommend that you remove them before swimming .

Certain stones such as turquoise, malachite, amazonite, opal, lapis lazulis and pearls are called 'porous' and do not tolerate humidity well, be sure to keep them away from water.

When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it in the pouch that comes with it.
